The 2021 KTM 300 XC-W TPI stands at the cutting edge of modern 2-stroke enduro technology. One of the biggest strengths of the 300 XC-W TPI is its remarkable versatility. Thanks to its broad, tractable powerband, this bike performs equally well crawling through technical singletrack as it does blasting across wide-open terrain. The engine's tuning, paired with the counter-balanced crankshaft, makes for a surprisingly smooth and fatigue-free ride over long distances. Add in KTM’s trademark electric start and oil-injection system, and you have a 2-stroke that starts reliably and runs cleanly at any elevation or temperature—with no need to premix fuel or mess with jetting.

From a chassis and suspension standpoint, the XC-W continues to showcase KTM’s dominance in the off-road segment. The WP XPLOR fork and PDS rear shock system provide ample adjustability and real-world effectiveness, especially for riders who appreciate a lighter feel and improved ground clearance in technical terrain. The addition of external preload adjusters in the 2021 model year made tuning quicker and easier, especially for those who like to tweak their setup between races or trail rides.
