2009  Yamaha V Star 650 Classic

The Classic is the more traditional-looking V Star 650, with substantial fenders, a larger cruiser-style profile and a relatively low 28-inch seat. The XVS650A Classic is also physically larger than the standard/custom XVS650.

Features May Include: 

• 649 cc 70° V-twin — tuned for relaxed cruiser riding rather than high-revving performance.
• Carbureted — simpler than modern fuel injection, but a 2009 example may need carburetor cleaning/rebuilding if it has sat for long periods.
• 5-speed transmission
• Shaft final drive — no chain cleaning or chain adjustment.
• Electric starter
• Wet-sump lubrication.
