Liquid-cooled, 8-valve Rotax 976cc V-twin pumps out a class-leading 85 horsepower, yet is refined thanks to EFI and iTC. The liquid-cooled, single overhead cam power plant features 4 valves per cylinder, fed by a 54-mm Bosch throttle body and 2 sophisticated VDO Siemens fuel injectors.

• Intelligent Throttle Control (ITC)

This electronic throttle-by-wire system works in conjunction with the 54mm Bosch8 throttle body to produce smooth delivery, even if the driver's foot is bouncing due to the rough terrain. The iTC system detects unwanted bounces and filters the input. Comes with a progressive and sport mode.

• 625-W Magneto

This package provides a more powerful magneto with 625 W of power output.

The only independent rear suspension that eliminates scrub and camber changes, meaning the wheels pivot up and down rather than in a butterfly motion. This ensures the vehicle only moves in the direction you point it. Reconfigured for improved traction and optimal transfer of power to the ground.

• Double A-Arm Front Suspension With Dive Control

The Can-Am Commander's Double A-arm front suspension is designed with dive-control geometry that works to eliminate diving under heavy breaking and rough terrain. The front end features 10 in. (25 cm) of travel and five-way preload-adjustable motion-control shocks.

• FOX PODIUM X RC2.0 Performance HPG Shocks

These high-performance front and rear FOX PODIUM X Performance RC2.0 HPG Piggyback shocks give riders the flexibility to fit the terrain and riding style, with easy dual-speed compression, rebound and preload adjustments.

• Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS)

The electronically controlled power steering provides the driver with three different levels of assistance when steering. The amount of assistance varies with the vehicle's speed to adjust the steering input effort to a comfortable level. Features Visco-Lok QE for a faster engagement point.

• Visco-Lok Qe Auto-Locking Front Differential

All DPS-equipped models have Visco-Lok QE, which has all the features and benefits of the standard quick-engagement Visco-Lok differential, but with an even quicker engagement point. This differential, unlike some competitors' differentials, does not have a speed limiter.
